We purchased several of these new when we opened the conservatory, and this is the last one remaining.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"902\"\u003eBecause of that history, we know this piano extremely well. It was used primarily by beginning and intermediate students in a controlled teaching environment—typically just a few hours a day, Monday through Friday. That’s very different from institutional or university use, where pianos are played heavily for long hours by advanced pianists. This piano has had relatively light, well-managed use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1189\"\u003eEven so, we’ve gone through and fully refurbished it. That includes detailed action work—hammer reshaping, regulation, alignment, and full servicing—so it performs at a very high level mechanically. At its age, that kind of work brings the action back to a consistent, responsive feel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1398\"\u003eOn the exterior, the cabinet has been completely refinished from its original high-gloss into a satin black finish.
