Piano Academy is Hiring!
Share
We currently have an opening in the Piano Academy for a new computer lab teacher! The computer lab is a super important part of the Piano Academy experience and is one of the things that sets us apart from other piano lesson programs. After going to each of the private lesson rooms, Piano Academy students spend 30 minutes per week in the computer lab, where they learn theory, rhythm, ear training, and composition. We have over 20 computer programs and games to help students learn while still having fun!
The computer lab teacher helps students with written theory, supervises computer time, and organizes group games with up to 6 students at a time. We work with over 100 students each week ranging from ages 6 to 18, beginner to advanced. This is an awesome job for a college student with music experience or an advanced piano student in their junior or senior year of high school. Hours are from 2:45-6:30, Monday-Friday (applicants do not need to be available all 5 days; teachers can teach just 1-2 days per week if necessary).
We have loved having Sarah in the computer lab for the last few months and are so sad to be losing her because of her class schedule at BYU! Sarah shared, "I love working in the computer lab because you get to know so many different students who are all so fun. It's awesome to see them learning - and we all love the music store!"
So... if you or someone you may know is interested in teaching in the computer lab, let us know! You can call/text Lindsay at385-219-0774 or email PianoAcademy.UPC@gmail.com.
