"We recently moved to UT and were blown away to find a piano craftsman on par with any East Coast or European tuning and restoration company— who also sells or tunes reasonably priced, family-friendly models. We saw first hand in the shop that spinets received the same care from the team as the Steinways. We experienced nothing but respect from the entire team, no sales pressure, and amazing education. Brigham was patient and made our kids feel special. Our piano tuner in SL county referred us here and are very thankful." —Dawn Wessman

"Brigham is an outstanding piano technician who also plays himself. Brigham's enthusiasm for pianos and expertise when it comes to understanding the technical aspects of these sophisticated instruments makes him an incredibly unique piano dealer. When you talk to Brigham about the pianos he sells, or other brands he services expect an honest candor that manifests remarkable humility. If you visit Brigham's piano sales floor, you won't have an instrument sales experience, you'll have a music education experience." —Sterling G Keyes

"I had an incredible, hands-on, & educational experience buying my first piano here and felt 0 pressure the entire time. I highly recommend buying here. Brigham, the owner, even helped me create a surprise gift package for my wife to surprise her with the purchase. 5 stars easy." —Aaron Oldham
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a refurbished piano and a fully restored one?
Refurbishing is a rigorous process we recommend every 20 to 25 years to keep a piano structurally sound and musically reliable. It includes a deep cleaning, full action regulation, pedal & damper system work, tightening and lubrication, reshaped hammers, reshaped keys, and often a full cabinet refinish with replated hardware. We also give the piano a pitch-raise and tune the piano to A-440.
A full restoration, by contrast, is more comprehensive—typically needed once every century for heirloom or high-end instruments. It includes all-new hammers, strings, pinblock, and key components, along with cabinetry & plate refinishing, new keys, metal hardware replating, soundboard preservation, bridge cap repairs, full action regulation, pitch raise, tuning to A-440—essentially resetting the piano for the next generation.
Can I trade in my old piano or upgrade later?
Yes—we often accept trade-ins. We also offer a Trade-Up Program, so you can apply your original purchase toward a future piano upgrade.
We're here to support your family's musical journey every step of the way.
Do you offer delivery outside of Utah?
Yes—we regularly arrange nationwide piano pickup and delivery. Just call our piano shop and we'll get you scheduled! We create custom routes all over the U.S. for both purchases and restorations.
