PNOscan is a high-resolution MIDI sensor system made by QRS Music that turns your acoustic piano into a digital MIDI controller — without changing how it feels or sounds acoustically.

Installed discreetly beneath the keys (and connected to the pedals), PNOscan uses optical sensors to measure each key’s movement and velocity with great precision. It converts your performance into real-time MIDI data, which can then be sent to:

• Recording software
• Notation programs
• Virtual instruments and sound libraries
• Teaching apps and digital platforms
• External sound modules or speakers
  

Importantly, PNOscan does not make the piano play itself — it captures what you play. (That function would require a QRS player system.)
