Bush & Lane pianos, established in 1903 in Holland, Michigan, quickly gained a reputation for their innovative designs and exceptional craftsmanship. The company was known for producing high-quality instruments, including grand and upright pianos, that were celebrated for their rich, resonant sound and durable construction. Bush & Lane also manufactured Cecilian and Victor pianos. A unique aspect of Bush & Lane pianos was their use of reinforced backs and innovative soundboard designs, which contributed to their outstanding tonal quality and longevity. Despite ceasing production during the Great Depression, Bush & Lane pianos remain highly sought after by collectors and musicians for their historical significance and superior sound quality​.
