DESCRIPTION The Hailun 161 Grand Piano is a 5'4" baby grand that I’ve had in my personal home since 2010—and I can confidently say it’s held up beautifully under daily use by all eight of my kids, plus myself. It’s compact enough for a living room but delivers a powerful, rich tone that rivals much larger grands.

This piano was designed by a team of top-tier Western engineers and built in China with remarkable efficiency and craftsmanship. I’ve visited the Hailun factory twice and seen firsthand how these instruments are assembled with high-end components—Abel hammers, laminated maple rim, German Roslau strings, and a solid spruce soundboard. The touch, tone, and build quality are frankly closer to world-class than anything else I’ve seen in this price range.
