    The Hallet Davis 170 is a 5'7" grand that fits right in the sweet spot for most living rooms. As a technician who services pianos daily, I’ve found that this range—just above 5'6" and under 6 feet—offers the best combination of tone, size, and versatility for home use.

    This model delivers a warm, rich tone that I personally really like. It's responsive, solidly built, and includes a padded bench with storage. We’ve placed this same model in our Conservatory’s solo room, and I’ve been impressed with how well it performs. It’s also surprisingly affordable—especially considering how it compares favorably with pianos double or triple the price.
