Collection: GrandCo.

Grand Pianos, produced by the Grand Piano Company, have a rich history dating back to their founding in 1911 in Roanoke, Virginia. Initially established as a piano store, the company expanded its product line over the years to include furniture and other musical instruments. The company was later renamed Grand Piano & Furniture Company to reflect its broader offerings. Throughout the mid-20th century, Grand Piano remained a key player in the piano retail market, known for their quality instruments and customer service. The company continued to thrive and expand, adding several stores across Virginia and neighboring states. However, due to a decline in piano sales and changing market dynamics, Grand Piano eventually ceased selling pianos in 1998 and rebranded as Grand Home Furnishings, focusing solely on furniture retail. Despite this shift, the legacy of Grand Piano remains notable in the history of American piano retail.
