This is unlike any piano we’ve ever had in the shop—a truly one-of-a-kind handcrafted art piano by award-winning wood carver and artist Paul George. Based on a 1920s Lester grand with solid musical pedigree, this piano was completely transformed by Paul into a sculptural masterpiece over several years. Everything from the legs, lid, music desk, and lyre to the bronze-cast vines and lid prop was custom-designed, carved, or cast by hand.

We’ve had countless beautiful instruments through the shop over the years, but this one stands apart as a functional work of fine art—built not just to play, but to inspire. The piano itself has been restored and performs beautifully, with rich tone and a smooth, responsive touch.
