This 1991 Weber WG-50 is a compact baby grand that has been completely refurbished on the inside and refinished on the outside in a satin black cabinet. The result is a piano that is both mechanically solid and cosmetically excellent.

Starting with the cabinet, the satin ebony finish is very well executed. It has a clean, understated look, and the level of detail in the refinishing—along with the polished hardware and cabinetry—puts it in excellent cosmetic condition.

Internally, this piano has gone through a full refurbishment process. At just over 30 years old, this is exactly the stage where a piano benefits from detailed action work rather than major component replacement. The action has been carefully serviced, including hammer reshaping, repinning, alignment, lubrication, and full regulation. That work brings the touch back to a consistent, controlled feel across the keyboard.

Tonally, it has a warm, rich character with enough clarity and brilliance in the upper register to keep it balanced. For a 4'11" grand, it performs well within its design—clear, responsive, and musical.

What I like about this Weber WG-50:

    • Compact 4'11" grand — ideal for smaller spaces
    • Fully refurbished action for reliable, consistent performance
    • Warm, rich tone with clear treble
    • Satin black cabinet with high-quality refinishing
    • Clean hardware and detailed cosmetic work throughout

Every piano in my shop goes through final prep as well—regulation refinement, voicing, and tuning to A-440—so it performs the way it should.

With the structural components still in good condition and the action fully serviced, this piano has decades of reliable use ahead of it. If you’re looking for a space-efficient grand with a clean look and solid performance, this is a practical option.
