1995 Story & Clark 5'1" Satin Black Baby Grand Piano

This 1995 Story & Clark 5'1" baby grand has been fully refurbished on the inside and completely refinished on the outside in a satin black cabinet. The result is a piano that presents like new both cosmetically and mechanically.

Starting with the cabinet, the original wood finish has been replaced with a clean satin black finish. The refinishing work is very well done, and along with the restored hardware, pedals, casters, and matching bench, the piano is in excellent cosmetic condition.

On the inside, this piano has gone through a very thorough refurbishment process. Everything has been carefully cleaned and serviced—from the plate and soundboard down to the action and keyframe. The work includes hammer reshaping, alignment, lubrication, tightening, and full regulation.

That level of detail is what brings the piano back to life. Proper regulation ensures correct hammer travel, let-off, drop, and aftertouch, which gives you a smooth, controlled, and predictable feel across the keyboard.

Tonally, this piano sits right in the middle—not overly bright and not overly mellow. It has a balanced, pleasing sound with a light, easy touch that makes it comfortable to play for a wide range of pianists.
