8 Heirloom Pianos from Across the USA — Nationwide Piano Restoration!

Every week in our shop, there’s something new and exciting happening — and this week was no exception. We just received a shipment of eight heirloom pianos from all over the country! From Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Connecticut, Virginia, and Minneapolis, each of these pianos arrived with its own story and history.

A Closer Look at the 8 Pianos That Just Arrived
When these pianos rolled into the shop, it was like opening a time capsule of piano history. Here’s a look at what’s come in for restoration:

Square Grand from Pennsylvania – A beautiful 19th-century design that will undergo a full rebuild. These square grands have a distinctive tone and are truly one-of-a-kind once restored.

Bösendorfer from Connecticut – A world-class European piano that came to us for a full restoration and refinishing. We’re excited to bring its legendary sound back to life.

Mason & Hamlin Screw Stringer from Minneapolis – A rare and fascinating piece of piano engineering. We’ve rebuilt a few of these before — they’re challenging but incredibly rewarding projects.

7-Foot C.Bechstein Grand from Ohio – This instrument’s soundboard needs significant work, but once repaired, it’ll sing again. We’ll be doing extensive soundboard and bridge repairs.

Two Lester Upright's from Pennsylvania & Ohio – These pianos will both be rebuilt and the white one will be refinshed back to its natural wood finish.

Upright from Virginia – Currently covered in paint, this piano will undergo a full strip and refinish — a dramatic before-and-after project we can’t wait to share.

Emerson Upright from North Carolina – Another rebuild project that will get the full Brigham Larson Pianos treatment — structural work, new strings, new hammers, and full regulation.
Once restored, these heirloom instruments will soon be headed back to families across the country! As for now, we are headed to deliver restored pianos back to their homes in Colorado, Texas, and Wisconsin.
